Necroblaspheme are a band from France that plays a blackened form of death metal and this is a review of their self released 2015 album "Belleville".
Distorted guitar sounds start off the album along with some melodies before going into a heavier musical direction along with some death metal growls, grooves and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording and after awhile black metal screams are added onto the recording.
Elements of post metal can be heard in the bands musical style and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard along with the music adding in more black metal influences and when guitar solos and leads are utilized they are done in more of a dark and melodic musical style.
Some of the songs also get atmospheric at times and also bring in a small amount of clean playing and as the album progresses spoken word parts can be heard in certain sections of the recording and some of the tracks are long and epic in length and one track also brings in a brief use of clean singing and throughout the recording there is a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
Necroblaspheme takes black, death, groove and post metal and mixes them together to create a musical style of their own, the production sounds very professional for being a self released recording while the lyrics cover dark themes.
In my opinion Necroblaspheme are a very great sounding mixture of black, death, groove and post metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Rempart" "Two Trees (Dead Wood)" "The Grand Bores Haunting" and "Such A Lot". 8 out of 10.
