Sfera are a band from Northern Canada that plays a mixture of blackened crust, death metal, and grindcore and this is a review of their self released 2017 ep "Death Will Come".
A very fast and brutal grindcore sound starts off the ep along with a great amount of blast beats while all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them along with the solos and leads being done in an old school death metal fashion and the vocals are blackened style screams.
Death metal growls are also used at times along with a decent amount of blast beats while dark sounding melodies a re also used at times as well as most of t he tracks being very short in length and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the music always remains very heavy.
Sfera plays a musical style that takes black, death metal, crust and grindcore and mixes them together to create s sound of their own, the production sound s very heavy and old school while the lyrics cover dark and violent themes.
In my opinion Sfera are a very great sounding mixture of blackened crust, death metal and gindcore and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Death Will Come" an d "They Tore The Sky". 8 out of 10.
