Quantum Hierarchy are a duo from Italy that plays a very darkened and blackened form of death metal and this is a review of their 2018 ep "Neutron Breed" which will be released on March 30th by Everlasting Spew Records.
A very distorted sounding intro starts off the ep along with some demonic voices in the background before going into more of a heavier and brutal direction which also introduces chaotic guitar leads onto the recording while the faster sections of the songs also use a great amount of blast beats.
Vocals a re mostly deep death metal growls while the music also mixes in elements of black metal at times along with the songs also bringing in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts as well as the riffs also bringing in a decent amount of dark sounding melodies and the music always remains very heavy and brutal and screams can also be heard briefly.
Quantum Hierarchy plays a style of blackened death metal that is very dark and also brings in a mixture of both old school and modern influences, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover scientific themes.
In my opinion Quantum Hierarchy are a very great sounding dark and blackened death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Neutron Breed" and "Mausoleum Of Eternal Absence". 8 out of 10.
