Hardrocker are a solo project from Mexico that plays a mixture of black, speed, heavy metal and punk and this is a review of his 2022 album "Rider Of The Night" which was released by RidRipe Records.
A very hard and heavy sound starts off the album while you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording. Vocals are mostly first wave era black metal screams which also adds in a touch of power metal at times while the music also brings in a great amount of 80's era speed and heavy metal elements.
At times the music also brings in the raw energy of punk rock while the solos and leads also remain very true to an old school style. When the music speeds up a decent amount of blast beats can also be heard along with a great portion of the tracks also being very long and epic in length as well as the whole recording also sticking to a heavier direction and the album closes with a cover of Thor's "Warhammer".
Hardrocker plays a musical style that takes 80's era black, speed, heavy metal and punk and mixes them together to create a sound of his own. The production sounds very old school while the lyrics cover metal, rock'n'roll, Satanism and darkness themes.
In my opinion Hardrocker are a very great sounding mixture of black, speed, heavy metal and punk and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this solo project. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Rider Of The Night" "Speed Motorized Rock'n'roll" "Outlaw" and Warhammer". 8 out of 10.
