Trup/Nie/Godz Ov War Productions/2022 Full Length Review

 

  Trup  are  a  band  from  Poland  that  plays  a  mixture  of  black,  death  metal  and  noisecore  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2022  album  "Nie"  which  will  be  released  in  November  by  Godz  ov  War  Productions.

  Blast  beats  start  off  the  album  along  with  some  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  that  also  add  in  the  anger  of  noise/grind  style  screaming.  When  guitar  riffs  are  introduced  into  the  music  they  also  take  the  album  into  more  of  a  darker  and  heavier  direction  while  death  metal  growls  can  also  be  heard  at  times.

  All  of  the  musical  instruments  on  the  recording  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them  while  the  solos  and  leads  are  also  done  in  a  very  chaotic  style  when  they  are  utilized.  Throughout  the  album  you  can  also  hear  a  decent  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  along  with  some song  also  introducing  clean  playing  onto  the  recording,  synths  can  also  be  heard  briefly  as  well  as  a  couple  of  the  tracks  also  being  very  long  and  epic  in  length.

  Trup  plays  a  musical  style  that  takes  black,  death  metal  and  noisecore  and  mixes  them  together  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  heavy  while  the  lyrics  cover  darkness  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Trup  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  black,  death  metal  and  noisecore  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "29"  and  "33".  8  out  of  10.
