Lucifera are a duo from Columbia that plays a blackened form of thrash metal and this is a review of their album "La Caceria De Brujas" which will be released in 2019 by Dunkelheit Produktionen.
Grim yet high pitched black metal screams start off the album before going into a faster direction which also uses a good amount of blast beats along with the riffs also utilizing dark sounding melodies at times while the music also brings in a great amount of thrash elements but modern at the same time.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while a couple of the tracks are long and epic in length along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them while the solos and leads are done in a very melodic yet old school style when they are utilized as well as one song also adding in a brief use of ritualistic chanting before returning back to a heavier direction and they close the album with an instrumental.
Lucifera plays a musical style that takes black and thrash metal and mixes them together to create a sound of t heir own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in a mixture of English and Spanish and cover chaos, destruction and occultism themes.
In my opinion Lucifera are a very great sounding blackened thrash metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Sigillum Diaboli" "Pacto Pagano" and "Brujeria". 8 out of 10.
