Misanthropic Existence are a band from the United Kingdom that plays a blackened form of death metal and this is a review of their 2018 album "Death Shall Be Served" which was released by Aesthetic Death.
A very heavy and brutal sound starts off the album along with some death metal growls a few seconds later while black metal screams are also used at times along with the faster sections of the songs also bringing in a great amount of blast beats and tremolo picking and a couple of the tracks are very long and epic in length.
A small amount of melody can be heard in some of the guitar riffing while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the music also mixing in a great amount of 90's influences but also keeping everything modern and as the album progresses a brief use of rain and thunder sounds can also heard as well as the sounds of war and air raid sirens before returning back to a more heavier and brutal direction.
One of the tracks is an instrumental while a later song also brings in a brief use of atmospheric and ambient sounds but keeping the focus more on a brutal style and when guitar leads are finally brought onto the recording they are done in a very melodic style as well as having a very chaotic side to them.
Misanthropic Existence plays a style of blackened death metal that is very brutal and chaotic sounding, the production sounds very dark and heavy while the lyrics cover Satanism, Spirituality, Anarchy and Anti Abrahamic Religion themes.
In my opinion Misanthropic Existence are a very great sounding blackened death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Sacrificial Slaughter" "Kill Yourself" "Molested by The Abrahamic Gods" and "Humanicide". 8 out of 10.
