Imindain/The Enemy Of Fetters And Dwellers In The Woods/Weird Truth Productions/2017 CD Review

  Imindian  are  a  band  from  the  United  Kingdom  that  plays  a  mixture  of  black,  doom  and  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2017  album  "The  Enemies  Of  Fetters  And  Dwellers  in  the  Woods"  which  will  be  released  in  April  by  Weird  Truth  Productions.

  Atmospheric  soundscapes  start  off  the  album  along  with  some  synths  a  few  seconds  later  and  after  the  intro  the  music  starts  going  into  more  of  a  heavier  funeral  doom  metal  direction  along  with  some  dark  sounding  melodies  and  the  solos  and  leads  are  done  in  a melodic  fashion  along  with  the  tracks  being  long  and  epic  in  length.

  Black  metal  screams  are  used  quite  a  bit  throughout  the  recording  and  clean  guitars  along  with  melodic  vocals  can  also  be  heard  in  certain  sections  of  the  recording  and  the  songs  also  mix  the  heavy  and  atmospheric  parts  together  at  times  and  when  the  music  speeds  up a   small  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast  beats  can  be  heard  and  they  close  the  album  with  a  cover  of  Disembowelment's  "Cerulean  Transcience  Of  All  My  Imagined  Shores".

  Imindian  plays  a  musical  style  that  takes  black, death  and  funeral doom  metal a nd  mixes  them  together  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own,  the  production  sounds  very  professional  while  the  lyrics  cover  apocalyptic,  Occultism,  madness  and  existentialism  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Imindian  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  black,  death,  and  funeral  doom  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "The  Final  Godhead"  and  "Cerulean  Transcience  Of  All  My  Imagined  Shores".  8  out  of  10.
