Sincarnate are a band from Romania that plays a very atmospheric and blackened mixture of doom and death metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "In Nomine Homoni" which will be released in April by Hatework.
Dark soundscapes start off the album along with some spoken word parts a few seconds later before going into more of a heavier and atmospheric direction along with a great amount of blast beats and death metal growls and you can also hear a decent amount of melody in the guitar riffing along with the tremolo picking being heavily influenced by black metal.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and melodic singing can be heard in certain sections of the recording and after awhile black metal screams are added onto the recording and there is also a brief use of female vocals and the solos and leads are done in a very melodic fashion along with the slower sections of the songs being heavily influenced by doom metal and as the album progresses acoustic guitars are also added onto some of the tracks and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them.
Sincarnate plays a musical style that takes an atmospheric form of doom/death metal and mixes it with black metal to create a sound of t heir own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover Gnosticism, Religion, Heretical, Philosophical, and Human Thinking themes.
In my opinion Sincarnate are a very great sounding atmospheric mixture of black, doom, and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Agrat Bt Mahlet" "She-Of-The=Left-Hand(Pistis Sophia)" "Dies Illa" and "Atonement". 8 out of 10.
