Sektor/Allegy/Rebirth The Metal Productions/2017 CD Review

 Sektor  are  a  band  from  Germany  that  has  been  featured  before  in  this  zine  and   plays  a  blackened  mixture  of  death  and  thrash  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2017 album  "Allergy"  which  was  released  by  Rebirth  The  Metal  Productions.

  A  sci-fi  orientated  intro  starts  off  the  album  before  going  into  a  more  heavier  direction  and  when  the  music  speeds  up  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  can  be  heard  and  after  awhile  death  metal  growls  are  added  onto  the  recording  and  when  guitar  leads  are  utilized  they  are  done  in  a  very  melodic  fashion.

  A  decent  amount  of  melody  can  be  heard  in  the  guitar  riffing  while  you  can  also  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  the  recording  and  the  songs  also  bring  in  a  great  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  while  the  tremolo  picking  and  high  pitched  screams  bring  elements  of  black  metal  into  the  songs  and  acoustic  guitars  are  also used  briefly  and  one  track  also  introduces  spoken  word  parts  onto  the  recording.

  Sektor  creates  another  recording  that  remains  true  to  their  blackened  mixture  of  death  and  thrash  metal  from  previous  releases,  the  production  sounds  very  professional  while  the  lyrics  cover  dark  and  philosophical  themes.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Sektor  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  black,  death  and  thrash  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "The  Process  Of  Projecting  The  Consciousness  Into  One  Part"  "The  Teachings  Of  AOS"  and  "The  Icy  Bequest  Of  The  Priest  King".  8  out  of  10.
