Büddah are a band from Poland that plays a blackened mixture of death and thrash metal and this is a review of their 2023 ep "The Curse of Ferrius" which was released by Witches Brew.
A very dark yet heavy sound starts off the ep while the riffs also add in a decent amount of melody. All of the musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them along with the faster sections of the songs also adding in a lot of blast beats and the vocals are mostly black metal screams.
Elements of thrash and death metal are also added into the music while the songs also add in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. A lot of the songs are also heavily rooted in the 80's and 90's era mixed in with a more modern day aggression, when guitar solos and leads are finally utilized they are also done in a very melodic style and clean playing is also added on the closing track.
Büddah plays a musical style that takes black, death and thrash metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark fantasy themes.
In my opinion Büddah are a very great sounding blackened mixture of death and thrash metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Curse Of Ferrius" and "Bloodstone lands". 8 out of 10.
