Vehementer are a band from Serbia that plays a mixture of black, death and thrash metal and this is a review of their 2014 ep "Replenishment Circle(The Black Spectrumfest)" which was re-issued in 2017 by Blood Harvest Records.
Drum beats alonf with some thrash metal influenced guitar riffing starts off the ep along with some black metal style tremolo picking and the music also mixes in element of both the r=first and second wave of t he genre and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can b e heard.
Vocals are mostly black metal screams while you can also hear all of t he musical instruments that are present on the recording along with the music being heavily rooted in the 80's and 90's and you can also hear some melody in the riffing and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and when guitar solos and leads are utilized they remain true to an old school style of extreme metal and the music also mixes in a decent amount of death metal elements with a small amount of demonic growls.
Vehementer plays a musical style that takes the old school styles of black, death and thrash metal to create a heavy recording, the production sounds very old school while the lyrics cover Occultism, The Devil and Apocalypse themes.
In my opinion Vehementer are a very great sounding mixture of black, death and thrash metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Greatest Of Circles" and "Crush The Oathbreaker". 8 out of 10.
