Witchfuck/Disgusting Rock'n'Roll/Old Temple/2017 EP Review

  Witchfuck  are  a  band  from  Poland  that  plays  a  mixture  of  black  metal,  thrash  and  punk  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2017  ep  "Disgusting  Rock'nRoll"  which  was  released  by  Old  Temple.

  A  very  heavy  guitar  sound  starts  off  the  album  along  with  some  black  metal  style  screaming  while  the  music  has  a  lot  of  first  wave  influences  as  well  as  the  faster  sections  of  the  songs  also  using  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  and  all  of  the  musical  instruments  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.

  Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  great  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and fast  parts  while  the  music  also  brings  in  a  great  amount  of  thrash  metal  and  punk  elements  along  with  the  solos  and  leads  also  bringing  in  more  of  an  80's  extreme  metal  style  as  well  as  some  spoken  word  parts  also  being  used  briefly  and  they  close  the  ep  with  a  cover  of  G.G  Allin's  "Violence  Now.

  Witchfuck  plays  a  musical style  that  takes  black,  thrash  metal  and  punk  and  mixes  them  together  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own,  the  production  sounds  very  old  school  while  the  lyrics  cover  violence,  alcohol,  sex  and  blasphemy  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Witchfuck  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  black  metal,  thrash  and  punk  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Disgusting  rock'n'roll"  and  "Unholy  Cunt".  8  out  of  10.

Old Temple   

Throneum/Empheris/Necrosadist/Witchfuck/Night Of Terror/Unpure Records/2018 Split Cassette Review

  This  is  a  review  of  a  4  way  split  between  Poland's  Throneum,  Empheris,  Necrosadist  and  Witchfuck  called  "Night  Of  Terror"  which  was  released  by  Unpure  Records  and  we  will  start  the  review  with  Throneum  a  band  that  plays  a  blackened  form  of  death  metal.

  Their  side  of  the  split  starts  out  with  live  audience  talk  before  going  into  a  heavy  musical  direction  along  with  some  blackened  screams  a  few  seconds  later  while  the  music  is  mostly  rooted  in  death  metal  and  when  the  music  speeds  up  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  can  be  heard  while  the  songs  also  bring  in  a  great  mixture  of  slow,  mid paced  and  fast  parts,  the  production  has  a  raw  live  sound  while  the  lyrics  cover  blasphemy  and  evil  themes.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Throneum  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  black  and  death  metal,  you  should  check  out  their  side  of  the  split.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Godless  Antihuman  Evil".

  Next  up  is  Empheris  a  band  that  plays  a  blackened  mixture  of  death  and  thrash  metal.

  Their  side  of  the  split  starts  out  with  a  very  heavy  and  80's  influenced  old  school  sound  while  the  faster  sections  of  the  songs  also  bring  in  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  while  the  vocals  are  mostly  black  metal  screams  as  well as  the  music  bringing  in  elements  of  death  and  thrash  metal, semi  melodic  vocals  are  also  used  briefly  and  the  songs  also  bring  in a   great  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts,  the  production  has  a  live  sound  while  the  lyrics  cover  death  and  necroism themes.

  In  my  opinion  Empheris  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  black,  death  and  thrash  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Black  Mirror  Of  Unkown".

  Next  up  is  Necrosadist  a  band  that  plays  a  mixture  of  black  and  thrash  metal.

  Their  side  of  the  split  starts  out  with  live  audience  talk  before  going  into  a  very  fast  and  old  school  direction  which  also  uses  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  while  the  music  also  mixes  in  a  great  amount  of  thrash  metal  elements  while  the  vocals a re  mostly  grim  black  metal  screams  as  well as  the  songs  bringing  in  a  great  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts,  the  production  has  a  very  raw  live  sound  while  the  lyrics  cover  blasphemy,  sex,  antichrist  and  desecration  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Necrosadist  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  black  and  thrash  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Infernal  Ritual".

  Closing  the  split  is  Witchfuck  a  band  that  plays  a  mixture  of  black  metal,  thrash  and  punk.

  Their  side  of  the  split  starts  out  with  a  very  fast  punk  and  thrash  influenced  thrash  sound  which  also  uses  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  while  the  vocals  are  mostly  black  metal  screams  and  the  songs  also  bring  in  a  great  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  as  well  as  the  guitar  leads  sticking  to  an  old  school  style,  the  production  has  a  vintage  live  sound  while  the  lyrics  cover  violence,  alcohol,  sex,  blasphemy  and  satanism  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Witchfuck  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  black  metal,  punk,  and  thrash  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Unholy  Cunt".

  In  conclusion  I  think  this  is  a  very  great  sounding  split  and  I  would  recommend  it  to  all  fans  of  black,  death  and  thrash  metal.  8  out  of  10.
