"Premonition" starts off with some occult style sound effects and serves on as intro for the rest of the ep.
"Extinction Of Creation" starts off with brutal sounding death metal riffs that utilize melody, d rums and growls before going into a mid paced direction which leads to some black metal screams and the song returning back to being fast as well as switching back and forth between the fast and slow parts as well as mixing in mid paced sections
"Bound By Eternal Penance" starts off with fast, brutal guitar riffs and blast beats which leads to the growls and screams and after awhile the music slows down and introduces a guitar lead and more black metal screams before returning to a faster direction.
"Refuge In Darkness" s tarts off with some slow black metal guitar riffing which leads to the drums kicking in and bringing in high pitched screams before going into a faster direction and mixing in the growls as well as switching back and forth between the slow and fast parts as well as bringing melody into the riffing along with some powerful bass playing and the song closes with some dark sound effects.
"In Ex Cathedra' starts off with a grunt and black/death metal style guitar riffing before going into a faster direction and introducing the screams as will as bringing in blast beats as well as adding in growls when t he song goes into a mid paced direction and after awhile the music switches back and forth between slow and fast, towards the end guitar solos come in and close the ep.
Lyrics cover death, afterlife, hell and suffering, while the production has a very strong, powerful, heavy, brutal and professional sound.
In my opinion Emblazoned are a very great sounding blackened death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Extinction Of Creation" and "Refuge In Darkness". RECOMMENDED BUY.
