Hellcrash are a band from Italy that has had music reviewed before in this zine and on this recording plays a mixture of black, thrash and speed metal and this is a review of their 2025 album "Inferno Crematörio" which will be released in May by Dying Victims Productions.
Drum b eats start off the album along with some heavier riffing a few seconds later which also takes the recording into more of a thrash metal direction. When the music speeds up a decent amount of blast beats can be heard while the vocals are mostly first wave style black metal scrams and all of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them.
Melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing while the album also adds in a lot of speed metal elements. When guitar solos and leads are utilized they also remain true to an old school metal style along with most of the recording also being very heavily rooted in the 80's era and the songs also add in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and all of the tracks also stick to a heavier direction, the closing track is also very long and epic in length.
On this recording Hellcrash takes the 80's styles of black, thrash and speed metal and mixes them with a more modern take on those genres. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover Satanism and Occultism themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Hellcrash and if you are a fan of black, thrash and speed metal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Inferno Crematörio" "Sword of Baphomet" "Oathbreaker" and "Templar's Curse". 8 out of 10.
