Tümör are a band from Turkey that plays a blackened form of death metal and this is a review of their self released 2026 ep "Doğum' which will b e released in January.
Percussion's start off the ep along with some heavy yet melodic riffing a few seconds later while spoken words can also be heard briefly. Vocals bring in a mixture of death metal growls and black metal screams while the faster sections of the songs also add in a great amount of blast beats.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the solos and leads are also done in a very melodic style. The ep also mixes in infleunces from both the modern and old school era's of extreme metal and the recording closes with a tribal orientated instrumental.
Tümör plays a style of blackened death metal that is very heavy and aggressive sounding. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in Turkish and cover birth, corruption and transformation themes.
In my opinion Tümör are a very great sounding blackened death metal band and if you are a f an of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Nursaz" and "Yol". 8 out of 10.
