Tyranny Enthroned are a band from Missouri that plays a very brutal form of blackened death metal and this is a review of their 2014 album "Our Great Undoing" which was released by Blast Head Records.
A very dark, melodic and heavy sound starts off the album along with some elements of brutal death metal and growls and the music also bring s in blast beats at times and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the songs also bring in a great mixture of both American and European influences.
At time s the music can be very progressive and the solos and leads that are utilized are in a very melodic musical direction and also add in technical elements at times and as the album progresses high pitched black metal screams can be heard in certain sections of the recording and one of the tracks is long and epic in length and in some of the faster sections you can hear a touch of thrash metal.
Tyranny Enthroned plays a musical style that takes European black metal and mixes it with American death metal to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover anti-theism and post apocalyptic themes.
In my opinion Tyranny Enthroned are a very great sounding blackened death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Incubus" "Mark of Conjured Divinity" and "Our Great Undoing". 8 out of 10.
