VoidCeremony are a band from Ramona, California that plays a progressive mixture of black and death metal and this is a review of their ep "Foul Origins Of Humanity" which will be released in 2018 by Blood Harvest.
A very dark yet heavy sound starts of the ep before going into a very fast direction which also uses a great amount of blast beats along with some grim black metal screams while t he riffs also use a great amount of tremolo picking and dark sounding melodies as well as the music also having its progressive moments.
A great amount of death metal elements can be heard in the bands musical style while the solos and leads are also heavily rooted in the 90's era of the previously mentioned genre along with the songs also bringing in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts as well as some growls also being used at times and the last track is very long and epic in length and also all instrumental.
VoidCeremony plays a musical style that mixes black and death metal together with some progressive elements to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark spiritualism, anti religion, occultism and philosophy themes.
In my opinion VoidCeremony are a very great sounding progressive mixture of black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Time Sorceries". 8 out of 10.
