Noise Trail Immersion are a band from Italy that has been featured before in this zine and on this recording plays a mixture of mathcore and dissonant black metal and this is a review of their 2018 album "Symbology Of Shelter" which will be released in November by Moment Of Collapse Records.
A very fast, brutal and dissonant sound starts off the album while the vocals are mostly angry screams along with the music also mixing in a great amount of mathcore elements as well as the music also getting very technical at times and the music is very heavily influenced by black metal.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the solos and leads also stick to more of a dissonant style along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them as well as the music also mixing in elements of death and post metal at times and black metal screams can also be heard briefly, some of the later tracks are very long and epic in length and clean vocals can also be heard for a few seconds on a couple of songs.
On this recording Noise Trail Immersion takes mathcore and dissonant black metal and mixes them together to take their sound to another level, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover philosophical themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Noise Trail Immersion and if you are a fan of mathcore and dissonant black metal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Mirroring" "Acrimonious" and "Symbology Of Shelter". 8 out of 10.
