Death Ensemble/2019 Demo Review

  Death  Ensemble  are  a  band   from  Indiana  that  plays  a  blackened  form  of  thrash  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  self  released  2019  demo.

  A  very  fast,  melodic  thrash  metal  influenced  sound  starts  off  the  demo  while  the  solos  and  leads  also  use  a  great  amount  of  melody.  Vocals  are  done  mostly  aggressive  sounding  blackened  metal style  that  also  shows  an  influence  of  the  first  wave  style  but  more  closer  to  a  thrash  style  and  all  of  the  musical  instruments  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.

  Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  decent  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  while  the  music  also  brings  in  a  good  mixture  of  both  old  school  and  modern  influences  along  with  some  elements  of  death  metal  as  well  as  all  of  the  music  stinking  to  a  heavier  direction.

  Death  Ensemble  plays  a  musical  style  that  mixes  black,  death  and  thrash  metal  together  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own.  The  production  sounds  very  powerful  for  being  a  self  released  recording  while  the  lyrics  cover  horror,  spirituality,  rebellion  and  inner  struggle  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Death  Ensemble  are  a  very  great  sounding  blackened  thrash  metal  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of t his  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  ep.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "The  Gods  Of  Eldritch  Horror".  8 out  of  10.
