Altars Ablaze are a band from Czechia that plays a blackened form of death metal and this is a review of their 2022 album "Life Desecration" which will b e released in September by lavadome Productions.
A very fast and brutal sound starts off the album along with a great amount of blast beats while dark sounding melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing. Vocals are a mixture of death metal growls and black metal screams and tremolo picking is also added into a lot of the faster riffs.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while t he solos and leads are also done in a very melodic yet chaotic style. Throughout the recording you can also hear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with all of the musical instruments on the album also have a very powerful sound to them as well as the music also being very heavily rooted in the 90's era but mixed in with a more modern day brutality and the whole recording also sticks to a very heavy and brutal direction.
Altars Ablaze plays a style of blackened death metal that is very aggressive and brutal sounding. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover darkness, death and desecration themes.
In my opinion Altars Ablaze are a very great sounding blackened death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Life Desecration" "Drenched in Wrath And Blood" and "Glorification of Rats". 8 out of 10.
