1.For those that have never heard of you before, can you tell us a little bit about the band?

2.In March you had released your first full length album, how would you describe the musical sound that is presented on the recording?

Let the words of others be the tongue of truth

3. What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the music?

Sarpentra does not explore lyrical themes, we proclaim, we inspire, spiritualize and catalyze peoples mind! All lyrics are a call for Improvement, Development, moving Forward for overthrowing dead or alive idols, gods and lords, and the ascension of Intelligent Man as the Master of his Life and Destiny!

4.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Sarpentra'?

SARPENTRA is a secret name of the Overwhelming High Dynamic Wisdom which brings Possibility to grasp and understand everything in the universe in the ways beyond fission of dualities. It symbolizes unity of destruction and creation as essential part of evolution and sophistication, Knowledge which ultimate goal is the blinding light of Understanding (Awareness)!

5.(What are some of the best shows that the band has played so far and also)
How would you describe your stage performance?

Sacred Initiation

6.Do you have any touring or show plans for the future?

Yes, on earth and anywhere else!

7.Currently you are unsigned, are you looking for a label or have received any interest?

Under the sign of Sarpentra there are no barriers, we can choose any path we want!
Our call will be heard no matter sooner or later and all those drowning in slumber will Rise with us!

8.On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your music by fans of extreme metal?

Extreme feedback for extreme people!

9.Where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?

We aim towards new horizons both musically and intellectually.

10.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

Sarpentra/Supernova/2015 Full Length Review

Sarpentra are a band from Russia that plays a blackened form of death metal along with some orchestra elements and this is a review of their self released 2015 album "Supernova".

A very dark and atmospheric sound starts off the album and after the intro the music starts to get a lot more heavier and goes for a blackened death metal style along with a great amount of blast beats, melodies and classical elements and when vocals are added into the music they are done in more of a growling style.

Throughout the recording there is a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the solos and leads the band uses utilize a great amount of talent and skill and they also mix in the classical parts into the more heavier sections of the songs and there are also some tracks that bring in middle eastern style scales and they also bring in a brief use of spoken word parts and operatic female vocals.

Sarpentra plays a musical style that is mostly rooted in death metal but also mixes in black metal and elements of classical and middle eastern music to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very professional for being a self released recording while the lyrics cover occult themes.

In my opinion Sarpentra are a very great sounding blackened death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Iron Nails Run In" "Odium (The Temple Of The Sacred False)" "I Set the World On Fire" and "Prometheus Unbound". 8 out of 10.
