Throneum/Moloch Letalis/Martyxwar/Old Temple/2019 EP Review

  This  is  a  review  of  a  split  ep  between  Poland's  Throneum  and  Moloch  Letalis  called  "Martyxwar"  which  was  released  by  Old  Temple  and  we  will  start  off  the  review  with  Throneum  who  return  with  their  mixture  of  black  and  death  metal.

  Their  side  of  the  split  starts  out  with  a  very  fast  and  brutal  sound  which  also  introduces  blast  beats  onto  their  side  of  the  recording.  The  vocals  bring  in  a  mixture  of  black  metal  screams  and  death  metal  growls  along  with  the  music  also  being  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  90's  style.

  A  small  amount  of  dark  sounding  melodies  can  also  be  heard  in  the  guitar  riffing  along  with  all  of  the  musical  instruments  on  their  side  of  the  recording  also  having  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.  The  song  also  adds  in a  decent  mixture  of slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  as  well  as  the  solos  and  leads  being  done  in  a  very  old  school  style.  The  production  sounds  very  professional  while  the  lyrics  cover  dark  themes.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  track  from  Throneum  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  blackened  death  metal,  you  should  check  out  their  song.

  Next  up  is  Moloch  Letalis  who  return  with  their  mixture  of  black  and  death  metal.

  Their  side  of  the  split  starts  out  with  a  very  heavy  and  old  school  sound  while  the  faster  sections  of  the  songs  also  bring  in  a  good  amount  of  blast  beats. Vocals  are  also  done  in  more  of  a  blackened  style  along  with  the  music  being  mostly rooted  in  an  early  90's  death  metal   style.

  A  small  amount  of  dark  sounding  melodies  can  also  be  heard  in  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  as  well  as  the  solos  and  leads  also  remaining  very  true  to  a  classic  death  metal  style,  the  fast  riffs  also  add  in  a  decent  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  atmospheric  sounding  synths  are  also  used  briefly  towards  the  end.  The  production  sounds  very  old  school  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  Polish  and  cover  anti  Christianity,  death,  hatred  and  misanthropy  themes.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Moloch  Letalis  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  black  and  death  metal,  you  should  check  out  their  side  of  the  split.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Czarny  Calun,  Wieczny  Sen".

  In  conclusion  I  feel  this  is  a  very  great  sounding  split  and  I  would  recommend  it  to  all  fans  of  black  and  death  metal.  8  out  of  10.

Moloch Letalis/Krwawy sztorm/Old Temple/2018 CD Review

  Moloch  Letalis  are  a  band  from Poland  that  plays  a  mixture  of  black  and  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their 2018  album  "Krwawy  sztorm"  which  was  released  by  Old  Temple.

  Thunder  sounds  along  with  some  drum  beats  start  off  the  album  before  going  into  a  very  fast  direction  which  also  uses  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats  along  with  the  vocals  also  bringing  in  a  great  amount  of  black  metal  screams  as  well  as  some  death  metal  growls  also  being  utilized  at  times.

  Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  great  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  while  the  solos  and  leads  are  done  in an  old  school  death  metal  style  along  with  the  music  also  being  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  90's  and  the  songs  on  the  album  always  remain  very  heavy  as  well  as  the  faster  riffing  also  bringing  in  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking.

  Moloch  Letalis  plays  a  musical  style  that  goes  back  to  the  90's  era  of  black  and  death  metal,  the  production  sounds  very  old  school  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  Polish  and  cover  anti  Christianity,  death,  misanthropy  and  hatred  themes.
