Lava Abyss are an international duo with embers from Ukraine and the United States that plays a blackened form of death metal which they refer to as being 'plague metal' and this is a review of their 2021 album "Sacrificial Ritual of Primordial Fire" which will be re-issued in 2024 by Archivist Records.
Keyboards start off the album before going into a heavier direction while you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording. Vocals are a mixture of death metal growls and black metal screams along with the faster sections of the songs also adding in a decent amount of blast beats.
