King Carnage/Ounce Of Mercy,Pound Of Flesh/badGod Music/2013 CD Review

King  Carnage  are  a  band  from  California  that  plays  a  blackened  form  of  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2013  album  "Ounce  Of  Mercy,  Pound  Of  Flesh"  which  was  released  by  badGod  Music.

Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  some  blast  beats  being  utilized  at  times,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  are  coming  out  of  the  guitars  and  at  times  they  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.

Rhythm  guitars  range  from s low,  mid  paced  to  fast  blackened  death  metal  riffs  that  are  very  dark  and  heavy  sounding  with  some  dark  melodies  being  thrown  into  the  riffing  at  times,  while  the  lead  guitars  are  very  old  school  sounding  death  metal  guitar  solos  and  leads.

Vocals  are  all  deep  blackened  death  metal  growls  and  screams  along  with  a  brief  use  of  chanting being  utilized  on  one  song,  while  the  lyrics  cover  darkness  and  occult  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  heavy,  dark,  raw,  and   primitive  sound  to  it.

In  my  opinion  King  Carnage  are  a  very  great  sounding  blackened  death  metal b and  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  recording.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Lord  Sabotage"  "Archetype  Of  Evil"  and  "Making  Angles  In  Blood".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
