Azator are a band from Argentina that plays a blackened form of thrash metal and this is a review of their self released 2008 demo.
A very dark yet heavy sound starts off the demo while the faster sections of the songs also add in a great amount of blast beats. Elements of thrash metal can also b e heard quite a bit throughout the recording along with the vocals being a mixture of black metal screams and death metal growls.
Tremolo picking can be heard in some of the the faster riffing while the riffs also add in a decent amount of melody. Throughout the recording you can also hear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with some synths also being added into the background briefly and all of t he music sticks to a heavier direction.
Azator played a style of blackened thrash metal on this recording that was very modern for 2008. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover Lovecraftian Horror and occultism themes.
In my opinion Azator are a very great sounding blackened thrash metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Dead Bodies". 8 out of 10.
