Fight The Fight are a band from Norway that plays a mixture of black metal, metlacore, punk and modern rock and this is a review of their self titled 2017 album which will be released on January 27th by Indie Recordings.
Black metal screams along with melodic riffing and death metal growls start off the album along with metalcore style breakdowns a few seconds later and the riffs also bring in a decent amount of groove and melody and clean singing vocals are also used at times and the solos and leads are also done in a very melodic fashion.
Elements of punk can also be heard throughout the recording while some of the riffing adds in a modern modern style of mainstream rock and as the album progresses clean playing can be heard briefly and keyboards along with touches of electronic music can also be heard at times and the songs stick to a mid paced direction and blast beats are also used for a few seconds.
Fight The Fight plays a musical style that takes black metal, metalcore, punk and modern rock and mixes them together to create something very original, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover real life themes.
In my opinion Fight The Fight are a very great sounding mixture of black metal, metalcore, punk, and modern rock and if you are looking for something original, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Fight The Fight" "Perfect Combination" and "Patient Zero". 8 out of 10.
