Broken Trinity/Challenges Of Gods And Mortals/2026 Full Length Review

 

  Broken  Trinity  are  a  band  from  Georgia  that  plays  an  epic  and  blackened  mixture  of  doom  and  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  self  released  2026  album  "Challenges  Of Gods  And  Mortals".

  Synths  start  off  the  album  before  going  into  a  heavier  direction  while  the  slower  sections  of  the  recording  bring  in  elements  of  doom  metal.  Melodies  are  also  added  into  a  lot  of  the  guitar  riffing  along  with  a  great  portion  of  the  tracks  being  very  long  and  epic  in  length  and  all  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.

  When  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  utilized  they  are  also  done  in  a  very  melodic  style  while  the  vocals  are  mostly  black  emtal  screams.   Clear  singing is  also  used  at  times  along  with  some  blast  beats  and  the  brutality  of  death  metal  also  being  utilized  when  the  music  speeds  up,  growls  can  also  be  heard  at  times,  throughout  the  album  you  can  also  hear  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  one  track  also  adds  in  a  brief  use  of  acoustic  guitars.

  Broken  Trinity  plays  a  musical  style  that  takes  black,  epic  doom  and  death  metal  and  mixes  them  together  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own.  The  production  sounds  very  professional  while  the  lyrics  cover  viking  lore  and  philosophical  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Broken  Trinity  are  a  very  great  sounding  epic  mixture  of  black,  doom  and  death  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Robes  Of  Purple  And  Gold"  and  "Culled  By  Odin's  Hand".  8  out  of  10.
