Alcoholocaust are a band from Portugal that plays a mixture of black, thrash, speed metal and punk and this is a review of their 2019 album "Necro Apocalipse Bestial" which will be released in September by Hellprod Productions.
A very heavy and old school sound starts off the album along with the solos and leads also being done in an 80's extreme metal style. When the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard while the music also mixes in a great amount of thrash and speed metal elements.
Vocals are mostly first wave style black metal screams along with the riffs also adding in a decent amount of melody. All of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them while the songs also bring in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts as well as mixing elements of punk into some parts of the music and all of the songs stick to a heavier direction.
Alcoholocaust plays a musical style that takes black, thrash, speed metal and punk and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in a mixture of English and Portuguese and cover metal, alcohol, blasphemy, occultism and violence themes.
In my opinion Alcoholocaust are a very great sounding mixture of black, thrash, speed metal and punk and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band.
