Fleshspoil/The Beginning Of The End/2025 FUll length Review

 

  Fleshspoil  are  a  band  from  Troy,  new  York  that  plays  a  blackened  mixture  of  doom  and  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  self  released  2025  album  "The  Beginning  Of  The  End"  which  will  be  released  in  February.

  A  very  dark  yet  heavy  sound  starts  off  the  album  while  you  can  also  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  this  recording.  Melodies  are  also  added  into  some  of  the  guitar  riffing  along  with  a  great  portion  of  the  tracks  also  being  very  long  and  epic  in  length  and  some  tracks  also  add  in  a small  amount  of  clean  playing.

  When  the  music  speeds  up  a  great  amount  of  brutal  blast  beats  can  be  heard  while  the  vocals  are  mostly  death  metal  growls  mixed  in  with  a  few  black  metal  screams.  Elements  of  doom  metal  are  also  added  into  the  slower  sections  of  the  songs  along  with  the  solos  and  leads  also  being  done  in  a  very  dark  yet  melodic  style  

  Clear  vocals  can  also  be  heard  on  a  couple  of  tracks  along  with  the  songs  also  adding  in a   good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  as  well  as  the  music  also  having  its  atmospheric  moments,  tremolo  picking  can  also  be  heard  in  some  of  the  faster  riffing.  The  production  sounds  very  professional  while  the  lyrics  cover  darkness,  death  and  horror  themes.

  In  my  opinion  Fleshspoil  are  a  very  great  sounding  blackened  mixture  of  doom  and  death  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Bleed  Through  This  Life"  and  "A  Frail  Demise".  8  out  of  10.
