Florida's Perdition Temple have returned with a new recording which shows the music going for a blackened form of death metal and this is a release of their 2025 album "Malign Apotheosis" which was released by Hells Headbangers Records.
A very fast and brutal sound starts off the album along with a great amount of blast beats while the vocals are mostly blackened metal screams. The recording also adds in a lot of mid 80's to early 90's death metal elements mixed in with a more modern aggression and the solos and leads stick to more of an old school style.
Melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing while the songs also add in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. Growls are also utilized at times along with the music being very heavily influenced by early Morbid Angel recordings and the whole album also sticks to a heavier direction.
On this recording Perition Temple remain true to the blackened death metal style that t hey have established on previous releases. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover evil, hell and genocide themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Perdition Temple and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Resurrect Damnation" "Death Insurrection" and "Fell Sorcery". 8 out of 10.
