Visione Obscura are a band from Brazil that plays a mixture of black metal and crust punk and this is a review of their self released 2025 ep "VxSxOxBx".
A very dark yet heavy sound starts off the ep while d beats and crust punk elements are added into the mid tempo sections of the songs. All of the tracks are also very short in length along with the vocals bringing in more of a first wave black metal style and the music is heavily rooted in t he 80's yet modern at the same time.
When the music speeds up a decent amount of tremolo picking and blast beats can also be heard while the songs also add in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the whole recording sticks to a heavier direction.
Visione Obscura plays a musical style that takes black metal and c rust punk and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very dark and heavy while the lyrics are written in a mixture of Portuguese and English and cover angry themes.
In my opinion Visione Obscura are a very great sounding mixture of black metal and crust punk and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Jao" and "Brazillian Liver Punishment". 8 out of 10.
